Increase Your GCash Wallet Limit to P500k. Here’s How.

What used to be Php 100,000 in wallet size limits, GCash has increased this to Php 500,000 provided you get Fully Verified and link your bank accounts.

#SanaAll! But seriously, finally, we can enjoy a higher e-wallet limit with GCash from the Php 100,000 to Php 500,000. This amount used to be reserved only to Enterprise customers, so this latest development brings a lot of convenience to existing users.

First thing to do, would be to verify your account. This ensures you are in compliance with the requirements of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). Make sure you have these valid IDs ready as you will need to scan them using the app to become “Fully Verified”.

  • UMID
  • Driver’s License
  • Philhealth Card
  • SSS ID
  • Passport
  • Voter’s ID
  • Gov’t Office/GOCC ID
  • TIN ID
  • PRC ID
  • Postal ID
  • HDMF (Pag-Ibig ID)
  • Alien/Immigrant CoR

All you have to do now to enjoy the increased wallet limit is to link your bank account or debit card.

Your limits will be increased if you link any of the following bank accounts to your GCash account:

  • BPI
  • UnionBank
  • Debit Cards (locally-issued, MasterCard/Visa enabled)

GCash advises that the GCash MasterCard, PayPal, and American Express Virtual Pay card are not considered and will not be valid to increase your wallet limits.

Once you link any one of the valid accounts, you will get an SMS notification that your wallet limits on GCash have increased. You will also receive a pop-up notification in the GCash App a day after you receive the SMS. Please be patient as GCash advises this may tak

Now for you to enjoy this increased e-wallet limit benefit, you will need to make sure you don’t un-link your accounts. Once you unlink your last Bank Account or Debit Card to GCash, your limits will revert back to PHP 100,000.
