Background
For many businesses, dealing with today’s COVID-19 crises requires having to innovate product offerings, and adjust operations to keep up with the demands of safety, security, and convenience of the customer. This “new normal” of mitigating the health crisis or even ensuring survivability in current and post business environments, requires many businesses to go online, digitize, and facilitate cashless transactions.
This is where PayMaya comes in with its tools to facilitate business payments and transfers.
PayMaya is a an Electronic Money Instrument that provides an E-Wallet service similar to that of GCash and GrabPay. It is also a payment processor allowing businesses to accept payments for their goods and services via QR Code, direct transfers, or even via Debit/Credit Cards. PayMaya is backed by the PLDT Group and competes head-on with GCash that’s backed by the Ayala Group.
